We are about to remodel our kitchen. We will have counters in the shape of a 'U' (not rounded though, more like 3 sides of a square.)
We were wanting stone on the 2 sides, and butcher block on the end that connects those two sides, if that makes sense.
I'm looking for ideas on how to go from one to the other. The stone we pretty thin, so we could get a thin butcher block and just butt them against each other and seal them. Or, maybe have the butcher block portion a few inches lower than the stone counters where the tops don't actually touch?
I'm trying to find examples in photos, but not having much luck. Any thoughts or links to photos, etc?
Thanks!
