tub or shower in upstairs bath?
I have to run a pipe to a second story bath directly above the downstairs bath, that has no tub or shower but has a window and I cannot figure out which would be the best and cost effective way to go.
I want to leave the window so I'm pretty sure the "pre-fab" tub with surround would be out of the question as these undoubtedly don't allow for holes to be cut out for a window....and the same I'd assume for a "pre-fab" shower. I'm getting the feeling that a solid wall surface cut to order with a window cut out, the glass doors and separate shower pan would be quite expensive so, I guess I'm going to have to go with a light weight tub, wall tiles, etc. Any suggestions for me before I break the bank? You can buy 3 peice bath surrounds that can be cut out to go round a window i take it the window is about middle of where a bath would go.
