My question is for design purposes really. I'm debating about whether or not to butt the tile all the way to the wall with no grout line vs. grouting the joint where the tile connects to the drywall. There won't be a groutline on the left side of the tile, so I didn't want it to look awkward for grout only on that one side. Any suggestions?
Thanks for the reply. I'm aware about caulking at junctures in tile vs. using grout. The meat of my question is should I run the tile all the way to the wall without grout caulking (making the appearance that the tile flows into the drywall) or do I leave a space for grout colored caulk?
if you are talking about the right hand edge of your picture, the problem becomes that this tile edge has an unfinished edge that will not look good left as is. Use edging tiles or leave it short and caulk it.
