Is there a way to prevent a Marcraft vanity top from scratching so easily?
I recently purchased a Marcraft cultured marble vanity top, and today while installing it, I noticed it scraches very easily. I think my primary mistake was ordering the vanity top with a gloss finish.
Is there any way to prevent the vanity top from scratching so easily?
The cultured marble is made from crushed marble and polyester resin, in case that helps.
These tops have a relatively short lifespan. They usually rupture around the drain within 5 years.
Unless you're good at stone refinishing, you're stuck with this situation.
As Danger said, keep items harder then the finish off the surface.
