Are swinging towel bars good?

My wife is trying to discourage me from installing some swing towel bars in our bath remodel. She says they sag with wet towels, take too much space and are otherwise unpractical
I chose them because they are interesting, and fit the location. What do you guys think?

I personally would never pick them.
Main issue would be the chance of the wet towels making contact with the walls.
Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
Your on your own with this one.

I remember those from years ago......

What you have to ask yourself......."How many swinging towl racks have I seen that had been in service for several years?"

I personally have not seen one that was not failing.....

They are about as good as those curtin rods that are arched out a little bit....Lots of hotels use them.....and every one of them is not hanging straight. Those swinging towl racks are just arms out there waiting for someone to put toooo much weight on.
