Styrofoam Rigidboard insulation?

How would I install rigidboard foam from the outside? I have T-111 paneling outside and don't want to disturb the drywall. Do I seal it to the studs? What advantages/disadvantages over fiberglass other than price and mold resistance? Can I install it in bathroom walls for better insulation and sound deadening?

I can't find any real installation tutorials on the internet.
