While working on my 1950's/60's something camp, I put a hole in the bedroom wall through the sheetrock. Suddenly, what looked like rat pellets, started pouring out of the wall. And it kept pouring. I stuck my shop vac in it and it just kept sucking tons and tons. Upon further review it looked more like black/brown poppy seeds mixed with pine needles and an assortment of other types of seeds. I opened the wall more and had even more poor out. Also it had, what looked like, little blue sticks of rat poison mixed in with it. It was throughout the insulation. It smelt kind of like a pine pot puree.
Any thoughts on what this stuff is?
