storm door - Installation help needed


I want to install a storm door to Hardy Plank, since that is cement what reinforcement do I need to screw into?

storm door - Installation help needed


You should be installing the door to the trim the Hardi is butting up to, not the siding itself.

storm door - Installation help needed


Ther is only a one 1x4 Hardy Plank and it is flush with the opening.

You need a flat surface on all three sides to install a storm door.
