Stone Veneere on the Front of the House.
Hey there, I'm just fishing for an opinion or two. The front of my house doesn't look too good so I'm going to fix it up with flowers and plants. However first I must do something about the cinder block foundation. The best idea I can come up with is installing a grey brick stone veneer (my siding is a light grey). Would this look decent? What other options are there to make the front look good. A picture of the front of my house is provided. Thanks for any input!

I like the vernier brick idea---that cinder block looks like it needs hiding---

DO a key word search on Parging, cheaper and faster then faux stone or brick.
If you have a real siding company in your area they may have some info on some faux brick or stone panels you can buy, faster and easyer then individual pieces. And no they do not look like those cheap plastic ones people use on mobil homes. |

Wouldn't it be easier to install some landscaping. While you are at it, you can add some soil to encourage a slope away from the house

What's that PVC pipe sticking up out of the ground?
If it's a sewer clean out there's no reason for it to be so high. It could be cut shorter and new adaptor and screw in plug installed. |
