steps to finish my basement
Hey guys, I just posted a question in the plumbing section, but thought I would ask my other question here.
I am planning on finishing my basement, it is currently a concrete floor and cement block walls, that is it.
I have purchased all the materials for my job I think:
steel studs & tracking
tar paper - for against wall
My question is this. I want to install a bathroom and for that I will need to take up parts of floor to get the plumbing in for shower, toilet and sink.
Can someone let me know the proper steps I need to take, like where do I start? Should I dig up ground and install plumbing then re-pour cement and then start with the tar paper on walls, studs, electricity, insulation drywall etc etc..
What should be the proper steps to do too finish my basement in the proper way to start.
Also, this is my first time doing anything like this so if anyone has any advise it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much
