solid surface estimate

Any idea on sq. ft. estimates for solid surface counter tops, corian or similar? I am working up an estimate for my remodel and would appreciate comments/questions.

Thanks in advance!

That is relative to kind of stone, or synthetic type, colors, thickness, remnant or slab, region, etc, etc, etc. Prices can range from in the $30.00's psf to several times that....

You simply need to go down to some of your local suppliers = 99.9% of stone(granite) companies have showrooms with all kinds of real stone and man-made alternatives that are each priced by the SF.

Additionally, there are other costs/charges for them measuring (or measuring yourself), them delivering and installing (vs. you doing it), also there are charges for the kinds of edge profile you want them to shape, also buffing, costs for side splashes, back splashes, etc...

I ran the size(sq. ft.) through the Dupont estimator for corian and got $5800. That is for 44 sq. ft. of a lower cost color, a $600 dollar sink, and 3/8 round over edge. That is $118 to $130 a square(depending on the sink).
I understand there are variables, and I will be visiting a few fabricators for quotes, but I figured I could get some comments on what people here have paid/charged on solid surface jobs.
