Soffit build with metal tracks and 2x4 wood studs

Hey guys I'm getting ready to build some Soffits with the above materials. Essentially the "ladders" if you can visualize. When attaching the studs to the track do you recommend screws, finish nails, or 1/4 crown staples? Thanks!

I'd use 1" drywall screws.
