Hi.......I am retilling my shower. I bought a tile adhesive that I thought was really good and then went online to find out some info on using it. I found alot of bad remarks about the product I bought (Omni Grip tile adhesive). I am really nervous to use this product as a lot of people say it doesn't dry. Does anyone know of a reliable waterproof tile adhesive that I could use in my shower area?:confused1:
Thinset is the only adhesive I ever use in a shower. Never any premixed adhesive, never a latex adhesive. It is portland cement, and once set up, waterproof.
Bill has the answer--Modified thinset--you will need to put in a temporary ledger board when you start
--thinset will let the tiles slide down---
Always use a drill and mixer blade to mix it---you want a smooth lump free mix--
Good luck--have fun--Mike--
