Shower Door Cleaning
I just completed a shower/tub combo to shower only with tile background remodeling job and installed a brand new 1/2" thick shower glass. I also installed a whole house water softener too which is great for taking showers, laundry, drinking water etc. Do I have to use a squeege every time I take a shower now that I have a water softener? Can I just apply some Rain-X or car wax to the shower door and let the water fall off naturally? How about spraying a product like Shower Shine on the glass daily? I've used a squeege for the past week and find that it doesn't remove all the water since there are parts where you overlap when you use the squeege and water remains. I also tried not using a squeege a couple times and didn't see any spotting at all. I use a product called Sprayaway Glass Cleaner that's sold in aeorsol spray bottles at Costco to clean class and it works very well. I wouldn't mind using that once a month instead of the squeege every day.

Shower Door Cleaning
once a week I have to use Cinch on it. Windex leaves a film and wipe marks. I squeegie too, but the waterspots still show after a week or so. I have no clue about water softeners though.
