I am looking at doing a shower floor 6' long and 5' wide, with the drain in the middle. I want to eliminate the curb or at least minimize the height of it. I will use a slope of at least 1/4"/ft. I have seen ADA showers with no curb or 1" curb. I don't care much if spray escapes as there is no wall on the far long side, but walls on 3 other sides. A standard 2" curb won't do anything unless the drain gets clogged and only for a bit til it overflows, so I just want to get rid of it. Anybody built a curbless, doorless shower and can think of anything I should be concerned about?
