Should I Insulate Basement Room?

I want to build one room in part of my basement. Two of the framed walls would be against two of the conrete basement walls, with the remaining framing not against any concrete. I plan to heat the room, when necessary (not often), with a small portable space heater. Most of the basement finishing info I have seen shows insulation in the framed walls. In my case, is there any reason/benefit to insulating? TIA!

If you going to heat it then insulate all of it.

Insulation also adds sound deadning in addition to making the space easier to heat and keep heated when needed.

what does the portable space heater use for fuel? I would not use anything intended to have venting in an enclosed area.

Thanks. No, it's an electric heater.
