Should I convert my 2 bathroom to 1

I'm currently remodeling a house that was built in the mid 70's. It's a three bedroom with two bath. The "main" bathroom is 8'x7' room, and the second is a 8'x5' room. Both are located in the center of the house.

Being a single guy, I would love to have one big bathroom with a big shower. But I also am concerned about resale value. How much would it affect resale value to just have one big bathroom? I know someone with a family probably would be interested in a house like this would want two bathrooms. But would they want two small bathrooms?

I currently have both bathrooms gutted. The only thing that's keeping them separated it a few 2x4's. What is everyone's opinion? One bathroom or two?

I think getting rid of one of the bathrooms would negatively affect your resale. Is there any other space you can borrow from?
With three bedrooms I think you are going to want two bathrooms.

Yeah I do have a utility room that could get some space stolen from it, but then it would be pretty cramped itself. Since my time frame of resaleing is 5 years, I'll keep it at two.

If it were a one or two bed house, I'd say make it one bath. But with three beds, two baths will appeal to most buyers over one bath.
