Setting a shower base

i bought a fiberglass showerbase and was wondering if i should set it into portland cement of non shrink grout. Even if my floor appreas level, I should still set it into something right?

I bought two bags of non shrink grout for this purpose and was wondering if anybody had any objections to this non shrink grout.

thanks for input.

Never heard of non shrink grout never heard of shrinking grout . I do like to put them in concrete to stiffen up for weight tolerances

I usually use masons mix---regular brick mortar---your grout may work just fine---I've never used that--but I think it will work--
