sad window installs

I just bought my first house in North Jersey (2 fam). I've got my hands full of repairs and what not, time is money and I want to get a renter upstairs asap. One problem that I need advice on has to do with the windows. The house has asbestos siding and new windows were installed within the past 18 months. Now when they installed the windows they just pretty much threw them in without properly sealing them. When it rains it actually leaks through the outside in through the wall around the window. I have money tied up in re-plumbing the bathroom and installing a new heating system and I'm looking to see if I can patch this up to hold me off till I re-side the house in a year or two. Any suggestions? Thanks -Ray

Ray they have a product called GEOCEL comes in clear and white . You can get it in a caulk tube or qt, where you can brush it on. Where in North Jersey. You can get the product a store called Norge Building Supply in Paterson, NJ .

Thanks guys for replying. This was a while ago when I created this topic, since then I used outdoor window and door sealant/caulk from home depot. It stopped the leaks I had. I am eventually going to reside this house but this should hold me off till then. You can bet I'll be back to get some tips on siding! Thanks again. -Ray
