Replacement Windows

There are licenced contractors advertizing in the local papers. shopwise, here in Maryland offering 10 windows for $750 then they come to the house tell you thats a discount off the cost of the windows. The real cost is $7,500 BUT if you SIGN TODAY they can do it for $3,975. They say if they take before and after pictures, use your home as a model home, put a sign out front they can do it for the discounted price.

IS this deceptive marketing?
Can they use that MARKETING Home scenario.

I thought MHIC said that the practices of the TIN MEN was illegal and they could have their licenses revoked. Who should I call, one of their salesmen was at my house and used this same exact sales pitch. They would not even leave an estimate on anything other than a business card. They work out of Glen BUrnie and their name reminds me of a big building in DC. Then he offered to give me an estimate on my kitched. Which was recently remodeled!!!!!

These guys are bad news and full of crap. They make car salesmen look good. Contact your local Consumer Affairs office. It should be in the County listings in the phone book.
