I goofed with a circular saw and made a big cut and gouge in my laminate countertop. Any idea how I can fix it. I have some slivers of laminate from other cuts, but not sure how to seamlessly fix. Any ideas? I have wood filler and gorilla glue and can pick up whatever I need tomorrow.
yeah, you can't seamlessly fix that. but you could "doll" it up = put a piece of stainless over the whole thing, sink wide. or route it out and put a piece of nice wood.
This. You won't be able to fix the damage in ways that won't look obvious. So either come up with a plan to replace a larger section or just get another counter. Right there in front of the sink, ugh, you really don't want patches or seams near where there's going to be a lot of water. Especially not when the substrate is crappy chipboard. You're just asking for trouble, much sooner than later.
