Removed garage door from shed, need ideas to "patch" hole.

It didn't work and I needed to get it open to get large tools in so I just removed it. Since it would be hard to match the siding what should I do to fill this hole? I was thinking french doors and a ramp but what else around it to make it look good?

What makes you think the siding would be hard to match?
I'd install a steel double door.

Just because it's been there for a decade and faded. I'm also thinking of cheaper ways to do this projects and matching the siding sounds expensive. :-)

You could reframe that whole opening and go over it with new siding for about 1/2 of what one french door would cost.

Build your own double doors, you can make them look as good/bad as you want/can.

Looking at that it would be great if I could build a ramp-door. The door swings from the bottom to create a ramp when open. :-) I guess that would be a heavy door though.

easier/cheaper to build a separate ramp and a double door.

Although I am a carpenter by trade, so not really DIY jobs, I have built 2 that are still in prime condition after 4 or so years and I live in one of the wettest windiest places in the country. Just think before you build and there is no reason why you cannot do it too.
Also, i like the OP idea of a drawbridge style door. Go for it.
