Recommendations for place to buy faucet and sink

We are getting our kitchen remodelled and I was looking for suggestion for place I could buy the kitchen faucet and sink.
I live in Seattle and looking for a steel finish.

Any ideas apart from the standard chains like Home depot and lowes ?
What about online sites, anybody tried them are they reliable ?

Thanks

Plumber's supply - stick to brand names like Kohler or American Standard that have warranties on the finish. Stay away from home-improvement stores for fixtures - they're crap made in China with plastic parts. You're not saving money there - you're throwing it away.

Do you come up to Vancouver Canada much? There are a few good places around here that's good for shopping. I purchased Paini products from Italy and there's a few good distributors here.

if you want good prices ebay is always good. But another online dealer with great prices, name brands, and free shipping is faucetdepot.com.

If it's not too late and you haven't bought your stuff...

Figure out what you want by going to manufacturer web sites, or just go on ebay and look at the 1000+ pictures that you'll get when you enter "kitchen sink". I don't recommend buying this stuff off ebay, but it's a great place to get an idea what's out there. You can also see something on ebay and then go to that manufacturer's web site and take a look at a product line you might like.

Once you settle on a manufacturer and model, I'd call Keller Supply, they have locations all over the W.WA region, they mostly sell to contractors, but if you have all the data for exactly what you need, they've always sold to me (non-contractor). I've found on Kohler lines that they're a little cheaper, and have a much greater selection available than the big box stores.

I agree wholeheartedly with this statement. I would add Price Pfister and Delta to his list. I own both and have had reason to test their warranties. Both have come through with flying colors.

Not only do they cover finish, but when the small "O" rings go bad, they even furnish replacements for them. When I was told to call Delta for replacements of this type, I thought surely they won't furnish them. To my surprise, in about 7 days I had the parts required to do the maintenance.

I bought the Price Pfister "Tub and Shower" set and "Lavatory" set from "Home Depot". They had good prices. Also, when one set had a part missing, they furnished it without a problem.
