Greetings.. i am rebuilding from Katrina. I want to use RBB untreated yellow pine inside of my house instead of sheetrock. I do not plan to paint it. I kow the 4 by 8's are 5/8 thick and heavy. CAn i get away with this? I am ok of my house looking rustic. I do not want thin paneling on my studs and i like the idea of strength in the wood. I do not want to paint sheetrock.
Reverse Board & Batten. It's meant to be used as an exterior siding (yes, basically plywood). You CAN use it if you choose, unless there's some building code in your area that says you can't. That said, it's an awfully rough surface for an interior application. I guess it's a matter of personal preference.....
