Problems with drywall

A little less than 2 years ago, my father and brother put up new drywall in my bedroom. They did a good job overall, but there are some issues with it. The main issue is the seams. They are ALL visible, no matter if the room is painted light or a darker shade of blue (as I have it now). Also, there are spots where you can clearly see nails sticking out through the paint. I'm getting ready to remodel my room, so I'm trying to figure out how best to fix these imperfections. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

Any obvious nails or screws should be pounded flat. Any of those areas should have additional screws installed to ensure the sheets are fully secured.
Re-coat everything, as if it had only ''one'' original coat applied. Sand and finish accordingly....

If you lack the skills for ''fixing" these issues, consider hiring a professional to get...professional results...

If you got nails popping and seams visbible everywhere I would agree with AC...

A nail pop here or there is one thing but if you want a pro job get an estimate and see how much it would run versus doing it yourself.
