Patch "popcorn" ceiling

Pulled a kitchen cabinet out and it left three small holes in the ceiling. They are about 2inches around. Whats the best way to repair or blend these into the existing ceiling?

You have to scrape the areas around the holes down smooth.

Then coat them several times with compound - Very smoothly.

Then you would have to get the right matching popcorn texture (there are several different kinds: mediam, fine, very fine).

Then spray it, while blending (feathering) the edges.
