new bath layout

I am in the process of remodeling a full bath which is approx. 5x10'. It has a full bath/shower tub install and fairly decent size vanity/sink (51'').
My dilemma is HOW small I should go without the new bath being too small for comfort. For anyone who has done a bath with minimal space in mind, would you recommend layouts ( rectangular 4x7,5x8...)based on your past experiences?
Keeping in mind I want to keep it a full bath but stand up shower is ok (4x4 shower enclosure).

Thank you in advance.

new bath layout

Here's my bath, currently under construction. It is 8' long, by about 7' wide.

The shower is about 30"x60", and the toilet is on the other side of the wall from the shower. The countertop runs the 8' length of the room.

I'm no designer, but it will work for us!

new bath layout

Aloha KC,
Your project looks like it's comming along great. Looks somewhat like my layout I am demo-ing (vanity-toilet-shower/tub). I'm looking at cramping in a vanity-toilet-shower (corner, rectangle, square) in a area maybe 5x7..4x6 if possible. I'm talking teeny tiniest of full baths. Am I fulling myself in thinking it can be done?

Thanks for the reply
