nail guns and nail sizes

hitman Newbie   Join Date: Feb 2010 Posts: 1	nail guns and nail sizes I have a question im remodeling my attic and im reinforcing the rafters with 2x6's I would like to know what size nail and nail gun to use I already have a 2.5 inch finish nailer but i dont know if that will do the job

campos202 Newbie   Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Apex, NC Posts: 22	nail guns and nail sizes You'll need a framing nailer that can shoot 10d (3 inch) round-head nails. Don't get a clipped head nailer those aren't allowed by code anymore in most states.
