I've installed a 58" Panasonic plasma tv (~130 lbs) on a brick veneer wall. The veneer isn't the thin type of brick veneer, but whole bricks.
I used a low profile Peerless mounting bracket (Model ST660), which is rated for 200 lbs, and five 5/16" X 1 3/4" masonry anchors (the plastic sleeve type). They're rated at 300lbs vertical and 150lb pull (sheer?).
Does this sound safe to you? My wife is giving me mondo-grief

about the install, swearing the mondo-expensive tv will come crashing down.
I appreciate any feedback you all can provide.
Sincerely,
Bob
