Mount a copper sink on granite
I bought a copper sink hand made from Mexico and it's a drop in rounded not flat edge it has no hold down on the sink to keep it from popping out like screws or tabs my ? Is what adhesive to use to put in the rounded part of the lip of the sink to the granite top I have for it I will put silicone around the outer edge to seal it I just need to know would be the best to hold the drop in sink down
Thank you for any info you can give me love the website
I'd ask your counter folks what they recommend for the particular stone you're going to have fabricated for it.
Otherwise I'd think some sort of flange epoxied onto the outside of the bowl might provide a way to use some standard sink clamps. Just enough to allow the clamp to grab the bowl but not protruding so far as to keep the bowl from being removed later. The idea isn't to put a serious grab onto it, you're just keeping it pulled snug to the surface above. Pulling too tight would likely risk deforming the copper bowl.
