Mold + insurance question


Well, i can't get the insurance adjuster to call me back. I've called three times. I'll keep trying.

What about your insurance AGENT. He or she should be able to answer your questions in 30 seconds. Also, you could read your disclosure. It will tell you if mold is specifically EXCLUDED.

I get just about monthly phone calls from my agent's office to find out how we're doing and check in with us. (how's the re-wiring going? We can save you some money when you replace that plumbing, etc).

I wouldn't hold your breath for the insurance company to cover mold damage that has been left un-mended and that pre-dated your wife's purchase.

My first law firm job was working for the insurance companies to make sure they didn't pay out on things like this.....
