Is $475 a good price for a marble countertop for a bath vanity?

The size is 40Lx18w with two openings, one for the faucet and another for the drain.

Just the marble top, nothing else.

I think thats a little high. But maybe not it depends on your region. Also depends on the quality of the marble. Some marble is more expensive than others. Well mine is like 20 long and 36 wide. I didn't drop all that money Vanity and marble top with nice facet installed by my plumber total was like 300.00 dollars. I installed vanity just had plumber show up and put marble top on and facet and hook drain and water lines up. I got it at menards. It was on sale. You have to watch the sales.

Agree 100%. Is it a good price? yes and no. Depends like 747 said. There is really only one thing you can do and I know it sounds silly, but it isn't. If you really want to know if the price is good, look at other marble tops. If you find another you like that's considerably cheaper, then its not a good price. If you can't, you may just have $475 taste in marble.
