Large Wall Tiles 12x24

I will be applying 12x24 tile to my shower walls, ceiling and tub surround. The substrate will be dens-shield backer sealed with Schluter Kerdi. I had some one question if this wall structure will support 12x24 porcelain tiles. Any comments? Thanks
