Insulation for crawl space

Can any advise on what type of insualtion to use along the sill plate and walls of a crawl space? I was told to use unfaced, but recently heard that encapsulated fiberglass insulation (http://www.lessitch.com/insulation/b...mforttherm.pdf) is better.

Or is the spray stuff the best?

I thought I was looking for the same thing but are you talking about under the sill plates between the foundation or above the sill plates between the joists? The link you put up is for insulation for open walls not between sill plate or mud sill plate and concrete.
I've heard that poly seal was good for between the sill plate and concrete foundation but i can't find anyplace that has it so I'm thinking of just putting plastic between the two. It's not required in NC (where i am) but i'd feel better about putting some barrier between the two.

Actually I am look to put it on the concrete wall and along the sill plate around permiter of the house. It sells at Menards it you have one.

Saw the ad for that stuff just tonight. But how are you going to put this on concrete walls?
I believe you're actually concerned about the concrete walls and the rim joists? My energy auditor agreed with the 2" foamboard that was already under our 4 seasons room but suggested the spray foam in place of the pushed in fiberglass batting in the rim joists.

As for the rest of the rim joists in my basement, I used an combination of 2" foamboard along with the preexisting fiberglass. Caulking and foaming around the foamboard to seal.
