I need to know how to go about installing trim and molding in my newly remodeled bathroom. I need to trim around the door and around the window, also along the floor and the tub. I also have fiberglass-faced paneling halfway up all the walls except for the tub surround. I would like to run a piece of trim molding along the top of the paneling, can you help me?
OK, I'll give this a go. Do you have a miter saw? Do you have a finish nailer or are you going to do it by hand? Will you be using real wood or that foam junk? Painted?
go to the home store and look at the different types of trims, use casing around doors and windows, base for base trim and chair rail cap for the paneling it has a notch in the back to make up for the difference in thickness in the paneling
I actually like the "foam junk", certainly a lot more than the finger-jointed wood junk.
