I recently installed a nice Jeld-Wen aluminum clad wood sliding door.
I thought I had it just right. However, now that it has gotten real cold here, I noticed that there is some air coming in between the door where they meet in the middle.
I know the problem is that I didn't get the fixed panel seated all the way. I was having trouble with it when I installed it, but I didn't want to bang on it anymore because it was starting to bend the aluminum cladding.
Does anyone have any nice tricks for getting this fixed panel seated a little better. Looks like I just need to get it to go about another 1/4" and the seal will be complete.
