install laminate countertop

ryanb4614 Member   Join Date: Jul 2011 Posts: 144	install laminate countertop I installed my own cabinets they have plastic on each corner with a whole. I am guess this is where you put the screw to attach the countertop? What screws should I use? Can I use drywall screws? Any precautions I should be aware of and recommendations before securing it down. Thank you.. This is for a laminate countertop

joecaption Member   Join Date: Nov 2011 Location: Hartfield VA Posts: 18,182	install laminate countertop Do not use drywall screws. They make large head screws with special threads to hold in the partical board for this job. Just make sure there not to long or they will poke through the top.
