Question

Ideas for Basement Remodel

Hi...just looking for ideas of how to finish off the last room in my basement. I already have a work/tool room, laundry, and bathroom completed. I am looking at making an entertainment room (Flat Screen TV,Fireplace, and Wet Bar). If possible, a small storage room for the seasonal stuff (skies, skates, helmets, camping/hiking gear etc.).

The room is long and kind of narrow, a plan with measurements is attached. Please comment on what might be the best option. The walls are still open, just insulated, so wiring and plumbing is not really an issue.

Thanks,

big room. half bath in your plans? I feel a need to split that up even if its just a knee wall and avoid carpeting in a basement.

The small storage room would go on one of the ends of the room and the tv would go on the other. The wet bar and fireplace would depend upon drain considerations and code.

yes there is a half bath with room for a stand up shower, maybe in the future. I have it done so that you enter into the laundry room but there is another room inside the laundry room which is the bathroom. That room is pretty big but I could not split it up much as the main structural supports run along one of the walls separating the laundry room from the soon to be entertainment room.
