How to install tile around fire place with drywall/metal surroundings
Hello all, I'm trying to find a step by step solution for installing tile around the edges and on the floor around my fireplace. I read that you dont want to install tile on drywall, so I'm looking for what type of stuff I need to put up to have good solid tiles.
I have before and after (what I want it to look like) pics below. I currenly have the mantel that I want to put on top (around both sides) and the wood outlined boarders. I just need to know how to install the tiles within the boarders and on subflooring. Thanks for you help in advance! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Here's what I would like it to look like in the end (without the upper portion) and two sided of course.
