how hard to level an old apron tub?

I have two older kohler cast iron apron tubs- in good shape & working well for more than 15 years. We are redoing the tile surround to accomodate new plumbing.

The tubs are about 1/4 to 1/2 inch out of level, and seems they have been since first installed, because original tile was scribed to accomodate the
slope. One tub leaks a bit at the front edge, possible because of the slope
towards the room.

How hard is it, to shift & level these tubs?

The general contractor is very "leery", i guess is the word, to try and change these, but I can't really understand why. The drains are disconnected, the wall are down to the studs, and the tubs are just resting on a couple crippled studs at the back wall. We've removed the wall in adjacent closet to remove the drain & waste, and I can see the feet of the tub and all the way to the other wall behind the apron.

Is there really a big difficulty here?

We've begun picking up a lot of slack on our project because the general is having some health issues, and I'm less & less confident his answers are based on construction issues vs his inability to do the work. I need a referee on this question so we can decide whether this is something we can do.

With the tub as you describe it, it is basically a "new" install. There's no reason you can't reset the tub.
