How to fill in corner?

What should I use to fill in the gap created by the rounded corner of the tub (see red area in crude drawing below)? What about the seam between the green board and cement board? Should thin-set be used with fiberglass tape?

How to fill in corner?

Is the cement board oriented vertically, applied to the wall? I'm having a heck of a hard time picturing where the gap is. Any chance you could post a photo?

your going to use thinset and mesh tape to spackle your seams so fill the void with thinset.

How to fill in corner?

Yep! Mesh and thinset. Much stonger than drywall mud.

How to fill in corner?

this is much easier than a risky scribe cut on the backer board.
