how do I repair holes in a fiberglass tub?

nvjusme Newbie   Join Date: Jan 2010 Posts: 1	how do I repair holes in a fiberglass tub? Hello, I have glass doors on my fiberglass tub now and I want to take them off and install a shower curtain only but how do I patch up the holes that I will create from removing the doors? Can I use caulk? Can you paint a fiberglass tub? thanks

If you talk to a plumbing supply warehouse, they normally have the info for these people. It's like repairing a boat. When they do it, they match the color and buff it out to where it's hard to tell there was a repair done. Mike Hawkins

I bought an Aquaglas shower repair kit to fix a hole I made in my (brand new) shower when I dropped a claw hammer in it, claw end down It made a totally invisible repair (10 years ago now). It's an epoxy resin that's color matched and various sand papers.
