Hole in ceramic tile

A client wants their floor tile to extend up each side of their shower and around the top of the shower (Fiberglass) unit. The shower head is the issue. Is there a way to make a nice 1" hole in tile?

Hole in ceramic tile

That is relatively simple---look for a diamond hole saw and plastic water cup---

I bought one at The home Depot for about $30--it comes with a peal and stick round plastic water holder---fill the cup with water--slowly drill--and you are good ---Mike---

Hole in ceramic tile

diamond hole saw - Google Search

The hole saw kit with the cup is what you want--if not you will need to make a wood centering jig and feed water to the cutter---
