Granite Countertop Sealers?

I am shopping countertops with different companies. One has thrown out the "option" of upgrading to a lifetime warranty granite sealer called Granite Shield. Does anyone have any experience or opinions on this product vs the kind that you can purchase over the counter that is supposed to last a year? What kind of price should I look to pay them for Granite Shield? Thanks!

Granite Countertop Sealers?

My granite supplier tells me that nothing is permanent when it comes to sealing the stone. They still recommend sealing with a qualified product.
Now if this company says "lifetime" and that means they will come out on occasion to reseal, then OK!
