Default Glass block window in a plastic tub surround?

I'm planning on having a plastic tub surround installed over the old tile in my shower. I currently have a vinyl window in my shower and would like to replace it with a glass block window, but I didn't know how that would work with the tub surround. Is it possible to cut the surround around the block window and trim it somehow? If so, does anyone have any advice or pictures of how I could do that?
