Question

gap for slab door?

I am framing a new door opening in a wall- Im doing good, but, can you tell me (after framing, and jambs), how much of a gap,if any, do I need to have from the jamb to the door sides and top? Hope that makes sense. Thank you for your time.

gap for slab door?

1/8th inch side to side and same on top.
Bottom will depend on several things including the floor finish.
I like 5/8 or 3/4 inch under a door if there is no cold air return in the room.

*edit*

Are you talking about the 'margins after install' which I answered above or the rough opening size for framing?
RO size is door slab plus 2 inches.
