Fullview storm door with stained wood front door

Hey all,

I recently bought a nice wood stained door with stained glass insets at a good price. I haven't put it on the hinges yet, but I went to home depot today, and inquired about storm doors. I'm interested in a full view glass door, but the home depot guy said that I shouldnt get one a storm door because it will trap heat, and warp the door. is this true?? My front door faces North, but I'm concerned about protecting the door from the elements. thanks

This is true for doors that get sunlight, the more sunlight, the worse can be the problem. It can bake a dark finish off the door of a south facing unit. A north facing door should not be an issue.
