Fireplace blower - motor replacement

My fireplace blower/fan sounds like a '78 AMC Concord.

I figured I'd replace the motor. However, I don't have a manual and can't figure out how to get to it.

1.) Anybody recognize the model pictured here?

2.) regardless of question 1, any advice on how these typically provide access to the motor? I pulled the bolts along the bottom, which doesn't seem to do anything.

3.) Finally, is it worth putting a new motor into what appears to be a 15+ year old fireplace fan? Or is newer stuff much better and worth replacing the whole thing?

Input appreciated. Thanks!

The blower should be located under the firebox off to one side. The lower front cover is removable ordinarily but I see some genius has mortared the cover in place. Remove the bolts and chisel the mortar on both ends and see if the cover comes out then.

You should be able to find a replacement blower motor without issue. Fifteen years is not that old if the metal isn't burned up.
