Finishing basement,insulation/vapor barrier questions
Ok I've read thru a bunch of post and can't really find the answers I'm looking for. I'm finishing my basement in northeastern pa. Cinder block wall and only the front of the house in below grade. Both sides and the back are completely above grade. I do not have a water or moisture problem. I started with dry locking all the walls anyway. I don't want to use foam insulation against the block. What's the best way to construct the wall and use fiberglass insulation. What kind of vapor barrier is needed to control condensation from the block wall between the finished interior wall? Would poly against the block wall then build a wall and drywall be the best Method? Thx for your advice.
