Finish basement/drain pipe

Hello-

I would like to finish my basement. My house is about 5 years old and when the drain pipe was installed, it was installed about 4 feet from the floor. The drain pipe starts from the back of the house through 3 different walls to the front of the house. My question is, could/should drain pipes be covered behind drywall?

Thanks in advance!

i would fram the wall out far enough that you could get to the pipes in case of a problem. can you squeez through 18 inches?

As long as any clean outs are still accessible----you can frame tight to the pipes---) leave a little wiggle room---1/2" is plenty----
